So, you and your dog would like to learn more about flyball?

For flyball your dog must possess a plain, well fitting collar or harness (no checks or half checks please), have basic obedience skills, be reasonably fit, aged over 12 months and be keen on a tennis ball. Flyball is a competitive sport, and we would ask that if you would like to train, then you are also prepared to travel to competitions, which are usually all day affairs and mostly within a couple of hours travel time from Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire.

Starters Courses are usually 10 to 12 weeks long, cost £45 - £50 and are held from October to December. Our current starters course is closed to new applications as it is full. Watch this space for details of a course for 2010.

It is essential that your dog is sociable with other dogs and can be held and released by a trainer. As flyball is a team dog-sport if your dog is in any way not sociable, please do not attempt flyball.

If you are looking to set up a new team, or have recently set up a new team and would like some assistance with training, then please feel free to contact our team captain Anne who will be happy to offer any help or advice. Please complete the form on the Contact Us page on this site, and your questions will be emailed directly to Anne.

We train at Breach Lane Equine Centre, near Wootton Bassett (please refer to map below for directions using Google).
