Shilo was totally ball-obsessed, making Flyball the ideal sport for her. At 10.5” tall she wasn’t the fastest dog in the club, but that didn’t stop her from believing that she could run as fast (or bark as loud!) as her larger team mates.

In 2009 (Shilo’s first year of racing) we were fortunate enough to be offered a place with the Wimbledon Whizzers GBRunning Team at the European Flyball Championships in Putte, Belgium. It was only her 5th Competition, but she was a little star and GBRunning came 2nd in Division 3 - what an achievement! When not chasing balls down a flyball lane and scaring most of the collies at changeovers, she was equally at home playing Fetch with her Frisbee or just charging around the fields wearing her backpack. As long as she was running around playing and barking, she was happy.
